Here's a three pager for my comics class. The assignment was pretty open: a color comic of pretty much anything we wanted utilizing a fantasy environment which connected psychologically with one of the characters.

I wanted to do something kind of dreamscapey and weird that left the reader with some questions (maybe too many questions, though!), and also tried to get some better panel compositions going at the same time. I managed to get this one done in under a day, and it was pretty well received in class as well!

In the description the ~Nhaar writes, "I wanted to do something kind of dreamscapey and weird that left the reader with some questions" and in Mud Mask they achieve just that! Cool comic the colors are great, but if I had found a mask that a dead guy was wearing, the last thing I would do is wear it.... urk... Great comic though ^-^.

What I got from this is that the boy was about to die, therefor he had to go through challenges. One of those challenges was this. He was sinking and couldn't get out, but showed persistence and bravery even through his fear, and that's when he touched the mask. The colors of the mask adn patterns showed where he was placed in the after life, and the face was the face of one who wore the mask before him.

AAhahahaha, but thats just my wild and crazy imagination!
Anyways as you can tell I got alot from this.
Great job very effective art!
