i can't take my eyes of this. the colours are beautifully composed and well thought out, the wonderful dynamics of every panel keep the eye busy, and the story draws me in right at the beginning.

this is simply precious.

Really awesome! Its always good to start an epic in the visual language of "something-glyph." I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. I also agree with the comment that the cultural references are well blended. They don't pull in too much of one direction, giving it some nice authenticity. Keep it up.

I will first say i love the way the narration reads like an old myth. secondly, I am appreciative of how you have blended several styles together. the art of the people makes me think ancient near east almost, while the creatures head calls to mind perhaps a pacific islander like feel, whilst the text is runic. good job sir, good job.

Thank you! I wanted to pull away from the visual language of 'typical' fantasy stories, which tend to be very medieval/Euro centric, and this is where it led me.
