I think I should have put the two bear files together or like organized them somehow, but I didn't.

Second version of the bear, since I didn't like the colors/some of the shapes happening on the first. Now I'm not sure which color way I prefer! Any opinions? Here's the first: [link]

I actually like the original? And I prefer the nib-face :p This one has a more dynamic shape. But you know the color palette of the scene best, so It's up to you which one serves.

Yeah, there are bits I like from each...The nib face is more fun, but I worry about it messing with the key hole symbolism (though that symbolism might be so deeply buried/hard to read to that it doesn't matter anyways? I don't know.)

The white version did look a lot better in my head :/ So we'll see when I actually get to the scene. It might actually get a third pass since it's driving me crazy, even though at the end of the day it's not that important to the story.

I wouldn't worry about it...symbolism is best when it's a little oblique, and the nib-ish version is more threatening, which I think you want it to be anyways, yeah?
